Goods are sold only to natural persons acting for non-business purposes (consumers) whose delivery address is in the countries available for selection at checkout.
By placing an order, the buyer confirms that they have read and agree to the Terms. The contract is concluded when the buyer receives the order confirmation by e-mail.
2. Rights and obligations of the buyer
The buyer has the right to purchase goods in accordance with these Terms, to withdraw from the contract under the conditions set out in section 7, and to exercise other rights granted by law.
The buyer undertakes to provide correct information, accept the goods ordered and pay for them.
3. Rights and obligations of the seller
The seller undertakes to deliver the goods ordered under the conditions set out in these Terms and to provide the buyer with the information required by law.
The seller has the right to refuse to fulfil an order if the goods are out of stock or if the order contains obviously incorrect information. In that case the amount paid is refunded without delay.
4. Goods and prices
Product descriptions and photos are for information purposes. Depending on screen settings, the actual shade of a product may differ slightly from the photo.
All prices are shown in euros including value added tax. The delivery price is calculated separately and shown before the order is confirmed.
The seller has the right to change prices. The price valid at the time the order is placed applies to the order.
5. Payment
Payments are processed by the payment service provider Stripe Payments Europe, Limited. Available methods: card payment, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
The order is processed once payment has been received.
6. Delivery
Goods are delivered to the address or parcel locker chosen by the buyer in the countries available for selection at checkout. Delivery times, prices and carriers are set out under Shipping and returns.
Delivery times are indicative and may change due to circumstances beyond the seller’s control.
7. Right of withdrawal
The buyer has the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the goods without giving a reason. This right is laid down in Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights and the national law of the buyer’s country.
In addition, the seller voluntarily offers a 30-day return period. This period is longer than the statutory one and in no way limits it.
The return procedure is described under Shipping and returns. You will find a model withdrawal form here.
8. Product quality and warranty
The seller is liable for any lack of conformity of the goods with the contract as provided by law. The consumer is entitled to remedies for lack of conformity for two years from delivery of the goods.
The goods are made in Latvia. Care recommendations are given in the Care guide.
9. Personal data
Personal data is processed as described in the Privacy policy.
10. Liability
The buyer is responsible for the accuracy of the information provided. The seller is not liable for losses resulting from an incorrect delivery address or contact details.
The seller is not liable for damage resulting from use of the product other than as intended or failure to follow the care recommendations.
11. Dispute resolution
We first aim to resolve disagreements through negotiation. The buyer may submit a request or complaint by e-mail to b2c@ortoto.com; we reply within 14 days at the latest.
If the dispute is not resolved, the buyer has the right to contact the consumer protection authority or an out-of-court dispute resolution body in their country of residence, or to go to court.
12. Discount codes and gift coupons
The seller may issue discount codes and gift coupons (coupons), including ones distributed through partners or at events. The value, minimum order amount and validity period of each coupon are stated on the coupon or in the promotion description.
A coupon is redeemed by entering its code in the shopping cart in the “Discount code” field or by scanning the QR code on the coupon. In that case the discount is applied automatically when the order meets the coupon conditions.
Unless stated otherwise on the coupon or in the promotion description, a coupon can be used once, for one order. Coupons cannot be combined with each other or with other promotions, and the discount applies to the price of the goods but not to the delivery price.
A coupon cannot be exchanged for cash and no interest is paid on it. Any unused part of the coupon value is not refunded or transferred to another order. Once the validity period has expired, the coupon is no longer valid and is not compensated.
When goods bought with a coupon are returned, the buyer is refunded the amount actually paid. If only part of the order is returned, the coupon discount is allocated in proportion to the prices of the goods. A used coupon is not reissued.
Keep the coupon code safe: anyone who knows the code can use the coupon. The seller is not liable for lost, stolen or disclosed coupon codes.
The seller is responsible for the coupon and its conditions. The partner or event organiser through whom the coupon was distributed is not responsible for how the coupon works or its conditions.
The seller has the right to refuse to apply a coupon or to cancel it if the coupon was obtained or is being used in bad faith, for example by guessing, forging or reselling codes.
When a QR code is scanned, a strictly necessary cookie is stored in the browser to remember the coupon code. More information – in the Cookie policy.
13. Final provisions
These Terms are governed by Latvian law. This does not deprive the consumer of the protection afforded by the mandatory provisions of the law of their country of habitual residence.
The seller has the right to amend the Terms. The version valid at the time the order is placed applies to the order.
